At Crowd Choir, we envision a world where music is a universal language that brings people together. Our goal is to create a platform that allows people from all over the world to discover and enjoy music from different cultures and genres.
At Crowd Choir, we dream of weaving a vibrant web of music lovers who share a passion for singing in languages beyond English — with special focus on singing in Spanish.
Together, we celebrate the joy of collective singing, creating connections that grow across Australia and reach communities in Spanish-speaking countries around the world.
At Crowd Choir, we believe music is not just something we listen to — it’s something we share. Our community brings together people from all walks of life to experience the joy of making music as one. Together, we sing in harmony, explore songs in many languages, and discover the powerful connections that collective singing can create.

Crowd Choir is a project designed to bring people together to experience the joy of singing in 3-part harmonies. It has been originally designed to cater for those that like to sing in Spanish, whether it may be because they are from Spanish speaking background, or they have travelled and experienced a country that has Spanish as its main language, or they have studied Spanish but need opportunities to put their studies in practice, or simply, those that are interested in experiencing music from other parts of the world, and are drawn to the cultural aspects of Spain and Latin America
Yes. There have been a lot of people coming the Crowd Choirs before that do not speak Spanish, and they enjoy it just the same. They may be slightly challenged with pronounciation, but the songs are arranged in a way that also caters for those who are not very versatile with the language, so there is a lot of place for respite, and for onomatopoeic engagement. DOn't let your lack of knowledge of the Spanish Language stop you from joining in this multi-cultural and joyous music-making experience. Challenge your brain, and come out stimulated and envigorated!!
Crowd Choir is a one-off event, in that each event is self-contained. Each event will teach participants to sing one song in 3-part harmonies, and at the end of the session it will be recorded (audio and video), and the end result be published via our YouTube channel. You don't have to commit to more than one event at a time, although we have a feeling that once you've had a taste of what this is you will want to continue to come. However, each event will be different, so no song will be sung twice, unless advertised accordingly. This means that there is no homework, or preparation involved. Just turn up and ride the wave...
Yes. This project is designed in a way that aims to be all inclusive. If you have never sung in choirs begore you will be graciously challenged, but the benefit of singing in a crowd is that the sound that is produced is the average sound of all present, and if you manage to find the part that best suits your voice, which you will be coached into doing at the beginning of the session, you will be able to sing along to other people that most probably will provide a reference for you to comfortably follow. The Crowd Choir, precisely, wants to be an all-inclusive experience, and to allow people that have never given themselves permission to sing in a choir, to experience the joy of singing in a crowd, and letting themselves go in a safe and contained way
Yes, we would like this to be a space that allows all walks of life to come together, an experience that speaks of community engagement, an intergenerational experience of music making. We do encourage though that everyone that comes is committed to the musical experience, and is self-reliant, or that parents take full responsibility of making this a pleasant experience, not only for their families, but for all those around them, so if your children need a lot of attention and are prone to being disruptive, you may consider whether this is the best activity for them to take part in.
Do you have any questions, want to book a show, or collaborate on a new piece? Would you like us to prepare a crowd choir for YOUR crowd? Reach out, and let's make music happen.
